What we have is real...

Her: Is it the right time? I kept asking myself, the whole of me, but I only get disagreement from my heart and mind. I don't know what to do. I want to make everything alright.

Him: We both feel the same way for each other, but she's holding out. I want to know what she thinks. I want to help her out with it. We're growing slowly apart. I won't let it happen.

--------------------------------------

I've been staring out the starry night for some time now. The breeze caressing my curly hair lightly, it felt good. The sound of the waves, pleasant to my ears, relaxing me. The sand encasing my feet with its collected warmth from the sun.

"Aigoo." I sighed as I put my head on my knees. I snuck out of the hotel to have some time to think of... anything. I love my friends, but the thing is we can't be separated and I need alone time right now. Marissa and Fame are already head over heels with their "boyfriends". Both of them are already in a couple even if they keep denying it. That's how people will see them, hell, that's how I see them too.

"Aigoo." Another sigh.

"Bre! Come on. Let's go to our room." Yoseob excitedly stretched his hand out to me, but I hesitated to take it.

"Ahh.. Uhm.. I think I forgot something. You go ahead first." I said, not looking him in the eye. I bet he already figured that I'm lying because he's been good at reading me. I looked again and his face was serious.

I heard a sigh. "Ok." He turned and walk a few steps when he turned a looked at me again. "Bre?" His voice soft and angelic.

"Yeah?"

"I... You know you can talk to me right?"

"I know." I want to. I really do, but I don't know when I can honestly say it.

"Ok. Uhm..." He walked over to me and enclosed my face with his manly hands. It was warm and felt good against my skin. His thumb brushed on my cheek as he brought my head down and kisses my forehead. When I looked at him, he smiled showing his dimples. He headed to our room and I stood there alone.

"I'm such a kid!" I shuffled my own hair out of frustration. "Aish!"

"I don't think that." A voice came from behind me that made me jump, but its eeringly familiar. I turned, I saw Yoseob towering over me, his expression unreadable and shadowed.

"I do." I hugged my legs close to my body. He sat down not so close beside me, but close enough that I can feel the heat coming from his body.

"Why? Why do you think you're childish?" He paused as he looked at me. "What makes you think that you're childish." I want to say 'you'.

Instead I said, "I don't know." He stayed silent. Not buying it at all. Without saying anything else, he slipped his hand on mine and entwined it with my fingers. His hand may be manly, but it's as soft as a baby. Oh how I love holding his hands.

He pulled me closer as he let go of my hand, but he draped his arm on my shoulder in return. I leaned my head on his shoulder and he leaned his on my head. He hums a song, some words in between, and I fell deeper in the dark.

The bright sun woke me up. I turned and saw Yoseob's flawless face near mine and his arm slung on my waist. He looked so peaceful in his sleep that I felt bad about how I acted to him last night. I should tell him later.

"Mmmm... Gumoning..." He sleepily said. He pulled me closer to him and my heartbeat increases. "Morning." I replied. He kissed me lightly on the lips and I felt blood rush to my face.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"I want to sleep more." He snuggled on my neck. His hot breath felt good against my skin. I closed my eyes to savour or time together until...

"Yang Yoseob! Bre! Breakfast!" Someone, I guessed Kikwang and we both agreed to it, shouted from behind our rooms door. "Come on! They don't want to go down for breakfast without you guys and I'm hungry!" More knocks.

"Could you please?" We heard an unfamiliar voice from outside and Kikwang's "Mianhe!"

We both laughed and got out of bed. We also told Kikwang that we're coming. We had our breakfast and decided to have fun at the beach. Us three, me, Fame, and Marissa went to our room to change to our bathing suits while the guys went to Marissa's and Junhyung's room to change into theirs.

It was nice outside. It's not too hot, but it's not cold either. We played beach volleyball too. We split up into two teams. Me, Yoseob, Dongwoon, and Hyunseung was in one team. Doojoon, Fame, Junhyung, and Marissa in one. Nobody picked Kikwang to be in either teams because, well, he sucked in sports, so he gets to be the referee.

Tired, we all decided to find a store that sells shaved ice. The place wasn't that far from the hotel so we stayed there longer.

"Ahhh! So hot!" Dongwoon said as he plopped himself on the chair. "We could've won, if it weren't for Kikwang hyung's officiating. All his calls were totally wrong."

"No, it wasn't!" He pouted. "You guys won't have a chance anyway."

"Yes, we do!" Yoseob interrupted. "You're just jealous 'cause you got stuck being referee and besides you suck at sports." I smacked Yoseob's arm.

"That's not nice."

"But it's true!" He whined and he looked so cute too. But I kept a straight face and he pouted when I didn't budge on his aegyo. The others laughed, all used to him. He's not even the maknae. "Hmph! I'm buying shaved ice. What do you guys want?"

We all told him what we wanted and he went to the counter to buy them. "Guess who I saw being carried like a princess last night?" Hyunseung said after Yoseob's gone. Everyone's attention and mine turned to him.

"Oh, who? who?" We all asked.

"Guess."

"Just tell us already!" Marissa said loudly. "Yeah, ppali oppa!" Fame seconded.

He chuckles and stared at me. "Huh? What? Why are you loo-" His smile grew wider. "IT WAS ME?!" Everyone from the other tables turned to look at us and Marissa started laughing out loud.

"Nah-uh?! Really, oppa?" Fame asked, amused. "Yah! You haven't done that to me." She punched Doojoon lightly on his arm. "You could've just asked." He replied. "But you know I like to be surprised." She turned her back to him, but Doojoon mischievously smiled at us as he grabbed Fame on the side and lifted her up with ease.

"Yah! Beoya?! Yah! Put me down!" She shrieked.

"But you said you want to get carried like this." He teased. We laughed at them as Doojoon twirled her around, her arms locked on his neck, hugging it tightly. But all of us can see that she's enjoying it.

"So it was me?" I turned to Hyunseung.

"Ne. I saw Yoseob carrying you while I was getting some ice. I don't think he saw me, but I didn't want to disturb the moment so I hid behind the machine." He leaned closer and said something only I can hear. "He was looking at you the whole time. He wasn't even watching where he's going." He leaned back. "Maybe that's why he didn't notice that I'm there."

I blushed, "Not true."

"Yeah, right."

"Shuttup." I stood up and walked towards the counter. "I'll go help him."

"Ne, Yoseob-ah." I saw a girl slightly taller than me in a thin, loose, white shirt that shows off her different color bikini, leaned towards Yoseob, my supposedly boyfriend and whispered to his ear.

I strained my neck trying to hear what she told him, but it's no use because I'm fifteen to twenty feet away from where they're standing. She leaned back and Yoseob threw his head back and bark a laugh. I stiffened and backed up, my eyes still trained on them that I didn't notice the person behind be and slammed into him.

"Oh, Bre." It's Hyunseung. "You ok? You guys are taking so long that I-" He paused and his hand went up to touch my face. "Gwenchana? You're so pale."

"Y-yeh." I stuttered. "Gwenchanayo, oppa." I tear my eyes away from him or else he'd find out that I'm lying. "I'm going back now. I couldn't find him anywhere." I ran back to our table just to get my purse and ran up to our room. When I got there, I threw myself on the bed and cried until I tire myself out and fall deep in the dark.

I woke up from the vibration of my phone. My eyes were heavy from crying that I have to force them to open. It was a call, from Marissa. "Yobosaeyo?" I answered weakly.

"Where the hell are you?" Her voice loud that it pounded on my tired head. I groaned.

"In..." I hesitated. "Our... room." I croaked out.

"You've been there the whole time?! And what are you doing?!"

"Could you lower it down?" I rubbed my temple as I said it. "My head hurts and you're making it worse. I fell asleep I guess."

"So you're sleeping." She paused. Tension went higher it made me uncomfortable. "You're sleeping while Yoseob's running around to find you. What are you thinking?!"

"Wai- What?! Why would he be looking for me."

"Go figure it out yourself, won't you?" She hanged up.

I've been running around like crazy for the past hour. My headache's getting worse by the minute. I stopped behind a rock so big that it covers the moonlight. I leaned my back on it and let myself slide into a crouch. I rested my head on my knees and I started to relax. I felt my headache seizing a little bit at a time.

I sighed. Where are you, Seobie?" I'm worried sick. All the feelings I felt earlier went a way as soon as I heard that he's been looking for me. Seobie... Then, something hit me as hard as a rock. How can I be so stupid?

There I found him sitting on the sand, the same place where he found me thinking, with his head down. It was, you could say, our special place. The waves were touching his feet. The moonlight shining on his platinum blonde hair. I saw his back heaving, a result from all the running I'm sure he did. I walked slowly, hesitatingly towards him, but I stopped half way. Doubts flooding my head that it started to pound again. What if all the things between us are not real? That the feelings I have for him will go to waste? I don't want that. I... I better just lea-

No. My brain shouted. I need to face this. I said to my self.

"Soebie..." I swear it came out as a whisper, but the boy's head shot up and turned at my direction. I gasped when I saw tracks of where his tears streamed down his face. I was about to say something when he pulled me into a tight hug, crushing my lungs.

"Seo.. Bie." I let out with a struggle.

"I... I'm sorry." He sniffed, but didn't let go of me. "I thought... I thought you were... gone." He croaked out the last word. "What happened?"

"I saw you... With a girl." I pushed him slightly away from me, my head down. "I got..." jealous... I couldn't say it out loud.

His hands, those soft familiar hands, cupped my face and lifted my head up so that I'm looking at him. "Bre, why would you think that?" His eyes filled with disappointed I could not take to look at. I tried to look away, but his hands won't allow me to. "You know that I won't do that ever!"

"How would I know?" I stared back at him. "We barely know each other!"

"I know, but can't you feel the connection that we have with each other? Can't you at least be honest with me? I'm not someone who can guess what you think all the time! Start thinking mature some time, maybe you'd-" Right on. He thinks I'm childish. That's what I'm afraid off that he'll say, besides we both can't ignore the face that he's older than me.

"No. Bre, I'm sorry." He paused and took my hand into. "I didn't mea-"

"Yes, you did." I try my hardest to not let my voice crack, but unfortunately I couldn't. "But you did." Tears were running down my face now. It won't stop. I told it to stop, but it won't listen.

"Bae..." he said wiping the tears off my face. "Bae, I'm sorry. If you're childish do you really think I'm gonna go out with you?" Go out... with me.

"We're... Going out?" I said with sniffles in between.

"We are." He chuckled. "We so are." He moved his face closer to mine until it was only inches away. I can feel his hot breath caressing my face, a prickling feeling became evident everytime his face inches in from mine.

Rustling. We ignored it. His soft lips was lightly on mine and I already felt my knees slowly buckling in. Rustling and BAM! Our heads snapped behind us.

"Ouch! Why'd you guys push me?!" Kikwang stood up and brushed the sand on his clothes.

"Pabo!" Hyunseung hit him in the head. "You fell by yourself. Now, we're busted again."

"I know right." the others added.

"Aigoo." I sighed. "No privacy at all." I said and rolled my eyes at them. "Maybe we should plan for our own vacation next time." I turned to Yoseob and he smile in agreement, his dimples showing.

"Soon." he whispered.
